The Drama Enrichment Program

The Drama Enrichment Program provides immersion programming in the arts. Sessions in dramatic skills and vocal presentation are intensive and uninterupted providing an avenue of artistic expression not available in an academic setting because of time constraints.
Drama and Musical Theatre are taught in the Drama Enrichment Program. More importantly self esteem and critical thinking skills, communication skills, and confidence are the principle areas of growth to students involved the program.
Drama Enrichment Program participants must perform in front of an audience. The interaction with the audience is part of the learning process and fine tunes the performance skills of the young actors and singers. Performance opportunities are presented at the culmination of the individual program (drama, musical theatre, or kids camp sessions) on the stage of the historic Reg Lenna Civic Center. Opportunities to perform are also presented when requests are made by area organizations. The young performers of the Drama Enrichment Program are fine representatives of the program, their families, schools and communities.
